Is Killing loneliness tricky? How to do it efficiently?

We, humans, are a social animal. We love to spare time with other people, adore spending our thoughts and tender moments with our peers. But in today’s materialistic world where everything seems grey, people keep moving, children flew away, and anything that is left behind is,” You and your loneliness”, and that’s the harsh truth.

There are several reasons which can make you feel lonely. Being lonely has its merit and demerit. Sometimes being lonely, and spending time with your thoughts is healthy, and it’s a necessity too.  But at times it’s pervasive, and never flinches to kill your morale, leaving you helpless. It tries to fill up your mind with pessimistic thoughts. Coerce you to enter into the darkness of negativity, and also paralyzes your thoughts, leaving you doing nothing, which is highly hazardous for your health because this invisible enemy is difficult to trace unless you realize it. It is consuming and tricky to handle.

Here I am jotting down a few methods which will help you to show a red signal to loneliness.

1.Pets: Pets are an excellent option for companionship. They love their human friend, selflessly. Their warm and friendly approach towards their owner helps in releasing the happy hormone called oxytocin. This cuddle hormone makes you happy and keeps loneliness away.

2.Books: This treasure box is a plethora of knowledge, information, stories, history everything; your mind can ever imagine. Books are engaging, and you get a variety of options to engage your mind. These are the salient companions that speak loudly through their words. They can take you on a virtual tour through their stories.

3.Take some voluntary work: If you are free, try to engage in some welfare work. Taking some assignments will not only help you to get out of the dark loneliness but also gives you immense happiness by helping others.

4.Engross yourself in entertainment: Call it an idiot box or entertainment magic box, it always keeps you engage. It’s better to share your time with an idiot than a deadly monster called loneliness.

5.Express your thoughts with others: Don’t keep your thoughts limited to yourself, speak out. If you keep your thoughts within you, it will force you more towards depression and loneliness. So, reach out to people. Make friends ask for help. Never hide if you are in pain.

6.Try to be in touch with people who care about you: Always stay connected with your loved ones. Today the internet has shortened the distance; now one can reach out to any place in just a fraction of seconds although not physically but one can interact with anybody face to face from anyplace through various apps like Skype, WhatsApp, etc. So, don’t hesitate to take action.

7.Never give up: Many times, it’s our devil mind that dominates our positive thoughts. It makes us feel lonelier than we are. So, try to fill your mind with lots of positive thoughts and never show a green signal to negative ones.

8.Embrace it: I know this one is contradicting the previous thoughts, but what I am trying to say is, accept it as one of the phases of life. Everyone goes through this at some point in time. There is no point in thinking that you are lonely instead embrace it, and work out what can you do to stay away from loneliness at this point.

9.Try to move on: Time stops for none, it keeps on going if a loved one leaves for any reason and push you into gloomy loneliness try to move on. Just try to wash your past. It’s difficult, but not impossible.

The above points can be helpful to clean the dark clouds of loneliness healthily.
